Bridging the Gap: Hosting the AMC 10/12 @ Clarity Quest

Updated: Jan 23

Our recent AMC 10 and AMC 12 exam day was busy, focused, and genuinely enjoyable to host. Students worked through 25 challenging problems in a 75-minute session, covering material from across the AMC syllabus.

"One of the most meaningful parts of the day was seeing students participate who do not normally have access to AMC testing at their schools. Hosting the exam locally removed a barrier."

The Atmosphere

The room was quiet but intense, with plenty of concentration and a few nervous smiles as the clock counted down. Our volunteers and proctors handled logistics and check-ins, making sure students knew where to go and had what they needed before the exam started. Once the test wrapped up, snacks and drinks gave students a chance to decompress and talk through the experience.

Celebrating Our Qualifiers

We were especially excited to see Andrew, Aarit, and Brayden qualify for the American Invitational Mathematics Examination (AIME) through their performance on the AMC. We will be hosting the AIME at our site later this season, and we are looking forward to welcoming them back!

Currently, we are pending approval to host NACLO!
